Faith Vander Voort
I am a sophomore journalism student at Azusa Pacific University who loves peanut butter and the color black. Originally from the swing state of Iowa, I fell in love with politics at a very young age. When I’m not in class, I can be found checking up on the news, watching House of Cards, or at the beach with Allison, Lauren, Bailey and Co. Although I have big hair, my ambitions are bigger yet. When I “grow up”, I hope to serve as a press secretary on Capitol Hill.

Hi, my name is Erika Hunter and I am a sophomore, Journalism major at Azusa Pacific University. I was born on December 14, 1994 in Inglewood, CA to two amazing individuals, Gwenda and Baron Hunter. My parents have taught me the importance of following after my dreams, and it is my sincere hope that I can someday become a news anchor. One day soon, I hope to be the one that YOU wake up to on channel 5 news! With the help of APU, and the many experiences I’ve gained thus far, I’m sure that I’m well on my way.
Brandon Rodriguez
Hello everybody! My name is Brandon Rodriguez, and I am a freshman Journalism major at Azusa Pacific University, with an emphasis in Sports Broadcasting. I was born on September 25, 1996 and have lived in Southern California my entire life. I am a huge sports fan, sports memorabilia collector and in my spare time, you can find me watching the big game. I am truly blessed to be here at APU, making the most out of this great opportunity. After playing four years of championship high school football, I know a thing or two about teamwork and determination. I’ve set my goals at a high standard and I’m focused on the future.
